ReplyDeleteThe Nemrut Mountains are currently in Turkey but they aren't turkish. It's Armenian history and the figures represent Armenian Ancient Gods. Turkish Government does everything to falsify it, calling it turkish and breaking Armenian symbols. As they run from the responsibility of the Armenian Genocide during the Ottoman Empire they deny the existence of Armenian history in that territories. Bur the true is that it is Armenian and Armenians lived on that places during more than thousands years. The turks just occupied that historical territories which are know as Armenian Highlands.
